How do you qualify?
Simply being a regular competitor (attend and compete in at least 2 shows in a season) at ALL Out SPL Events is all it takes. If you are an All Out SPL Competitor and you attend dB Drag world finals, simply submit your gas receipts upon your return and you will be reimbursed as much as possible based on the following factors.
- Total $$ donated to the fund available to pay out.
- Total # of competitors applying to be reimbursed through the fund.
- Total $$ spent per competitor on gas.
- Each competitors % of the total spent on gas is the percent of the fund they will receive.
Use the following example:
There are 4 competitors who attended finals and are applying to be reimbursed through the fund.
- Bob submits $600 in receipts
- Fred submits $750 in receipts
- Gary submits $250 in receipts
- Hank submits $1200 in receipts
The Total $ of fuel receipts being claimed is $2800. Percentage of the total is as follows:
- Bob 21%
- Fred 27%
- Gary 9%
- Hank 43%
This reflects the % of the fund they will be allocated. If the donated fund totals, for example, $1200 the funds would be allocated as follows:
- Bob $252
- Fred $324
- Gary $108
- Hank $516
- All receipts must the originals. No copies will be accepted. The originals will be returned to you if requested, please keep a copy of the receipts for your records.
- Recipes submitted must contain location, as well as date and time of fills.
- Only the fuel portion of the receipts can be claimed.
- Each competitors trip to and from finals will be tracked based on receipts submitted. If someone submits receipts that are conflicting or too clsoe together they will be flagged. Mapquest will be used to plot fill locations, amounts etc.. for each person.
- Receipts will be compared by $$ amount to the type of vehicle they were driving and the average fuel consumption of that vehicle to ensure that competitors aren't submitting other people's receipts in addition to their own to try to get additional funds. Being that Don will also be attending World Finals he will be able to verify that the person actually attended, and what type of vehicle they were driving.
